Light pollution has been shown to disrupt the circadian rhythms of wildlife and humans alike. Sea Turtles avoid nesting on brightly lit beaches. Sea Turtle hatchlings are attracted to white lights on buildings and in parking lots and die from exhaustion and predation before ever finding the sea...and freedom.
